For working adults, it's not too hard to pay for a few subscription services like Netflix or Spotify. In particular, Spotify Premium is a must if you get annoyed by ads. But what if you don't have an income? Well, Spotify now has a cheaper alternative for you.
Spotify Malaysia has announced two new types of Premium subscriptions. Specifically, there are two new packages available: Spotify Premium for Students and Spotify Premium Mini. The first one costs RM7.50/month and allows students to tune in to Spotify without ads disrupting them. As for the second one, you can get it for RM0.75/day or RM2.90/week.
As the name suggests, Premium for Students (or Premium Student) is targeted at university/college students. The only way you can get it is if you're enrolled in a local tertiary institution. For Premium Mini, the idea is to provide a more flexible plan. It's particularly useful if you only want to subscribe for a few days, for example.
So, what do you think about these new premium options? Are these what you have been hoping for? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
