For those who regularly use Spotify, you probably know that the platform has had podcasts since 2015. But anyone can create a podcast these days and it may not be content you want to listen to. With that in mind, Spotify has launched the Podcast Charts features to see what's trending when it comes to podcast.
The feature was already available on PC before this, but Spotify has now made it available on mobile for Android and iOS in 26 countries. Although Spotify didn't list down the countries that are getting it, Malaysia is one of them as I've managed to get the update on my Android smartphone. To access the Podcast Chart, press the Search tab and tap on the "Podcasts" under "Browse all". You should be able to see the button to access the chart next.
With this feature, you'll be able to see the podcast programmes that are popular in your country. For example, "MALAM SERAM" is topping the chart in Malaysia for now. It's quite an interesting one where the host shares ghost stories in Bahasa Melayu. The well-known BFM is also on the Malaysia chart and is currently at 13th. Once a day the chart's ranks will be updated, so you may find new ones you've never listen to before.
