Earlier, we announced that Spotify just offered a new prepaid plan which Malaysians can pay on a daily or weekly basis. At the same time, the company will also increase the Premium Family price from RM22.40/month to RM23.80/month.
This was confirmed from their newsletter by the Spotify Team not too long ago. So what's the reason for increasing the Premium Family plan? Well, they said it is to invest in their technologies to "bring you the best experience", as well as new contents and value. It's also under section 4 of Spotify's Terms and Conditions of Use.
The Premium Family price increase will only begin from March onward, so this is a one month head's up to every Spotify Premium Family user. Personally, the price increase is not that much and many Malaysians are using it to share as friends and family. What do you think of it?
