Most people love to listen to a variety of songs, so you probably a huge list of songs you've liked on Spotify by now. But you don't always want to listen to the same songs, right? In that case, Spotify's latest update would be relevant to you.

Spotify has announced a new way you can use to listen to music on the platform. Users can now filter their lists of 'Liked' songs using Genre and Mood filters, as long as their list contains at least 30 tracks. Also, the feature lets you select up to 15 personalised mood and genre filters to apply.

It's quite simple to use the filters too. First, open up the Spotify app on your phone, tap on "Your Library", then select "Liked Songs". You should now see a row of filters available. If you want to change the filter, just disable the current one and pick another option. Note that this feature is currently for the mobile app only.

Spotify has confirmed that both Free and Premium users will have access to the filters, as long as they belong to English-speaking countries. With that said, do you think this is a feature you'd find useful? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
