Do you go for jogs without a mobile device but often wish you had some music? The days of MP3 players are over, but now you can listen to music with just a smartwatch on your wrist! Specifically, this is made possible with the latest Spotify update.

Spotify has announced that all users can now stream music or podcast directly to a Wear OS 2.0 smartwatch. As you may know, this is currently limited to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. But for those who own the new models, you can listen to music away from your smartphone. The update will also be available to smartwatches from Fossil, Mobvoi, and Suunto in the coming weeks.

Another feature added with the update is offline listening. Spotify Premium users can now download music or podcasts directly to a compatible smartwatch. This can be done using the Spotify app on the smartwatch with the "Download to watch" button. Of course, you'll still need wireless headphones or earphones to listen to music on the smartwatch.
