The Steam Deck has piqued many gamers' interest over the past few months. It's slated to launch this month but there's no word if Malaysia would have it until now. Just this afternoon, local gaming store Impulse Gaming just posted about its availability.
According to the Facebook post, Impulse Gaming is purchasing a few limited Steam Deck units from overseas resellers. Since there's no official distributor, that would mean the price is likely to hike up tremendously. The price tags that you see in the image are just an estimation, starting from RM23XX for the 64GB and up to RM41XX for the 512GB model.

The gaming store will get its hands on the Steam Deck units by the end of February or early March. That said, most video games nowadays take up lots of space so having 64GB may not even be enough. Impulse Gaming also said the money will be refunded if the stocks were unfulfilled. However, if one chooses to cancel the order then there won't be any refund.
Personally, we think this is quite a big risk because there won't be any warranty either (according to the post). Furthermore, you can actually get yourself a decent gaming laptop with that amount of money. Anyway, do stay safe out there and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
