Valve's video game digital distribution service Steam recorded a new milestone over the weekend after it hit over 10 million concurrent in-game players for the very first time. Specifically, 10,082,055 users were in-game concurrently on Saturday (7 January 2023).

Shared by SteamDB on Twitter, the data for the day also showed that a whopping 32,186,301 were online on Steam at the same time, though they were not necessarily playing any games. The milestone is quite significant given that there were no new major games released on Steam during that time.
