Based on a report from Lowyat.net, there seems to be a Streamyx promo circulating around offering 8Mbps for RM100 a month and 4Mbps for RM90 a month. Not only that, the promo also offers unifi TV set top box as well as a wireless router and a DECT phone included in the packages mentioned. However, the promo is only available to newly registered customers only and not available to existing Streamyx customers.
In light of the recent media briefing regarding the Broadband Improvement Plan, there was no mention of this special offer by Telekom Malaysia but a according to a Twitter post by Rozeman, the promo is used as a marketing tool to target certain areas in Malaysia.
