Have you ever wished you could turn your smartphone into a laptop? Well, apparently you can do that with Superbook, a laptop shell that transforms your Android smartphone into a working laptop. Just attach your smartphone to the Superbook via an MHL cable that can utilize either the USB Type-C or microUSB port. Superbook itself includes an 11.6-inch LCD screen running at 1366x768 resolution, a battery that can last up to 8 hours, a multi-touch trackpad and a full-size keyboard.

All you need is to hook the cable, turn on the Superbook and it will boot up with a pre-installed Andronium OS that comes with it. The Andronium OS is quite similar to any laptop based operating system like Windows. Once inside, you can use Superbook to access your smartphone contents as well as access Google Play's massive library of apps. Additionally, the Andronium OS also offers a multi-tasking ability where you can watch a video and browse the web like you can usually do on a typical laptop.

One thing to note is that the Superbook relies heavily on your smartphone hardware. Therefore, it requires a smartphone that has at least a 1GB of RAM running an Android Lolipop version 5.0 and above to work correctly. Also, there aren't that many smartphones that support MHL either. The device is not official yet, but their crowdfunding campaign is set to launch on 15 June 2016, and the price tag is set at $99 (RM387). No Malaysia release dates but if you are interested, you can sign up for early access from within their website page.
