Today, Microsoft Malaysia announced a brand new Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7. Starting from RM5,399, these new Windows PCs are powered by Copilot+ and customers can find them in all authorised retailers across the nation.
Starting with the Surface Pro 11, this 2-in-1 PC is powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. Compared with the Surface Pro 9, it is 90% faster and can support up to three external 4K displays with two USB 4 ports. The 13-inch display has an optional OLED with HDR technology and the device also has WiFi 7 as well as 5G connectivity.
The webcam sports an ultrawide QHD resolution whereas its 10MP UHD rear camera supports 4K video recording. The Surface Pro 11 is made with 72% recycled content in the enclosure and with the new Surface Slim Pen, it features Zero Force inking, ultra-precise shading, 4,096 points of?pressure sensitivity, and a built-in haptic engine for a more natural writing experience.
Next, the Surface Laptop 7 is also powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. There are two touchscreen display sizes - a new 13.8-inch and a 15-inch which support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR technology, Dolby Vision IQ and Adaptive colour technology. It is 86% faster than the Surface Laptop 5 and can power up to three external 4K monitors.
With Copilot+, the 45 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) Neural Processing Unit (NPU) unlocks new AI experiences and delivers the longest battery life on any Surface – up to 22 hours on the Surface Laptop 15-inch and up to 20 on the Surface Laptop 13.8-inch. Users can also make use of WiFi 7, Full HD Surface Studio Camera, Omnisonic Speakers and Dolby Atmos.
The all-new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop are available for pre-orders starting July 11 via authorized retailers, including All IT, iTworld by SNS Network, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, PC Image, Senheng and TMT by Thundermatch. As for the Copilot+ PC Surface Pro for Business, it will be available on 10 September 2024. The upcoming variant will feature an NFC reader to simplify authentication and safeguard your business with chip-to-cloud security on a Secured-core PC.
