Synology had plenty to show at this year's Computex. Not only did the company reveal the PAS7700 NVMe all-flash storage solution for enterprise customers, but it also showcased the new C2 Surveillance platform for SMEs. There were also consumer products, such as the BeeStation Plus and Synology WiFi Camera. Here are some details shared by Synology.
Synology PAS7700
The Synology PAS7700 is an active-active NVMe all-flash enterprise storage solution designed to deliver "uninterrupted high-performance services" for mission-critical workloads. It has millisecond-grade low latency, up to 2 million IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second), and a sequential throughput of up to 30GB/s.
This storage solution combines two controllers and 48 NVMe SSD bays within a 4U chassis. Thanks to high scalability, SMEs and enterprises can add up to 7 more units for a maximum storage capacity of 1.65PB. The PAS7700 also supports memory upgrades up to 2048GB, high-speed 100GbE networking, off-site tiering and backup options, and more.
Synology C2
Another major product that Synology introduced at Computex 2025 is the C2 Surveillance. This is a new Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) solution for cloud monitoring. It's designed to be serverless, making it easier and faster to deploy but less likely to disrupt your existing operations. It also offers multi-site scalability.
The Synology C2 doesn't require any device license, so users can add cameras to the surveillance system without extra costs. It's also quick to deploy because the setup process can be completed with a smartphone. Since it's so user-friendly, the Synology C2 is ideal not only for SMEs or enterprises, but also for small companies or larger homes.
There's more!
As mentioned, Synology didn't just unveil new enterprise products. It also introduced new consumer products like the Synology BeeStation Plus, Synology WiFi Camera, Synology DX525, and more. There's even a new cloud-based office software suite with AI integration called Synology Office. The latter will soon be available to users with a Synology NAS (network-attached storage).
Locally, Synology expects more demand for some consumer solutions like the new BeeStation Plus. Considering our country's rapid digital transformation, Synology believes there's an opportunity to grow the demand for its storage services and products.
