Back in October, TCL released the TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G series in Malaysia. Available in a standard and Pro variant, these two smartphones introduced Malaysians to the NXTPAPER 3.0 display technology. Now, we're getting a tablet variant - the TCL NXTPAPER 14.
As announced by TCL Mobile Malaysia, the TCL NXTPAPER 14 is available starting 12 December 2024. This tablet has a 14.3-inch NXTPAPER 3.0 display, a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The TCL NXTPAPER 14 also has quad speakers to pair with its paper-like display, plus a large 10000mAh battery that can last for hours on end. Additionally, it has an adequate charging speed with the 33W charger and supports reverse charging.
Of course, the highlight of this Android 14-powered tablet is the NXTPAPER 3.0 display. This 14.3-inch screen has a max resolution of 2400x1600 pixels, 400 nits peak brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. Unlike most of the latest smartphones or tablets, the TCL NXTPAPER 14's display isn't as bright or smooth. But its matte finish promises a superior anti-glare and flicker-free experience. It also minimises blue light and has a physical switch, which can be used to toggle between regular and Paper UI (colour or ink).
The TCL NXTPAPER 14 is now available in Malaysia at a starting price of RM1749. From 12 to 26 December 2024, customers will also get a free keyboard, tablet case, and T-pen stylus as a bonus.
