As you may know, IFA 2025 is happening now in Berlin, with plenty of new products ready for reveal. Many of them won't be available immediately, but some companies have already announced prices. For instance, TCL revealed its new NxtPaper 60 Ultra at the event and confirmed its price.
Tech specs and features
Before we move on, let's check out the tech specs of TCL's latest device. The NxtPaper 60 Ultra is rather massive for a smartphone with a large 7.2-inch IPS LCD screen. That doesn't sound as impressive as the OLED screens for most flagship phones. But according to TCL, the LCD screen uses TCL's NxtPaper 4.0 screen technology. This display has Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and improved blue light filtering.
Like the other NxtPaper series devices, the NxtPaper 60 Ultra's screen is better at eliminating screen reflections and reducing glare. It also offers a paper-like reading experience, resulting in less eye strain even after long hours of staring at the screen. Users can also enable a new Max Ink Mode to block notifications, so you can enjoy reading without distractions.

Besides the screen, the NxtPaper 60 Ultra has a Dimensity 9400 chipset, 24GB of RAM (12GB+12GB), and up to 512GB of storage. The phone has a sizable 5200mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Camera-wise, the phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the back.
Price and availability
Although the TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra was unveiled at IFA 2025, there's no news on availability in Malaysia yet. Currently, it's only been confirmed that there will be two configurations of 256GB and 512GB. The 256GB variant costs 499 Euros (~RM 2461), while the 512GB variant is priced at 549 Euros (~RM 2707).

Honestly, a 7.2-inch device with a standard smartphone form factor seems awkwardly big. Regardless, what do you think of the design, specs, and features of this phone? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
