When most think of soundbars, we think of these compact speakers that try to do more than their size normally allows. In pushing for that, the good ones tend to be rather expensive. But TCL has announced that it's going to release five new soundbars that support Dolby Atmos and will be more affordable.

According to Android Headlines, the TCL Alto 9+, Alto 8I, Alto 6, Alto 6+, and Alto 3 are now either available or will be available in October 2020. The Alto 9+ is the fanciest of the bunch, arriving with Dolby Atmos 3.1 channel and an external subwoofer, while the Alto 8I also has two internal subwoofers. There's also the Alto 6+, which is another model with an external subwoofer.

Moving on, the remaining two soundbars cater more towards budget users. The Alto 6 and Alto 3 both offer 2.0-channel audio with Dolby Atmos and retain the wireless streaming via Bluetooth that all five models have. However, they don't do much aside from that. All five models will also support Google Assistant and AirPlay 2. If you'd like to find out more about the new TCL soundbars, check out the website here.

TCL also confirmed the prices for the Alto 9+, Alto 8I, Alto 6, Alto 6+, and Alto 3. They will retail for USD299 (~RM1244), USD179 (~RM744), USD129 (~RM536), USD79 (~RM329), and USD59 (~RM245) respectively. Pretty affordable prices, if you compare them with most soundbars.
