After many teasers, TECNO has unveiled the CAMON 50 Series as its premium-tier device within the CAMON lineup at the MWC 2026. While it's not globally launched yet, here's everything you need to know about the new lineup, which consists of the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G, CAMON 50 Pro, and CAMON 50.
The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G Leading the Lineup
The device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display, supporting a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming, alongside a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. With a 2160Hz touch sampling rate, the screen is engineered to deliver fast and responsive input.
Powering the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G is the Dimensity 7400-Ultimate chipset built on a 4nm process, and it also comes configured with up to 16GB of RAM, combining 8GB physical RAM with 8GB extended memory, as well as offering storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Another highlight is also the 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging technology.


Imaging remains the highlight of the CAMON series. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with OIS and a large 1/1.56-inch sensor size, paired with a 50MP 3x telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera caters to high-resolution self-portraits and video calls, reinforcing the device’s focus on photography and content creation.
Other Noteworthy Features
On the other hand, connectivity options include support for 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G networks. The device also integrates NFC and an IR remote control feature for broader device compatibility. For audio, the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G features dual stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos support.
The CAMON 50 Series also carries IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, offering strong protection against water and dust. Moreover, it also runs on HiOS 16 based on Android 15, and additional features include dual Nano SIM support and an on-screen fingerprint sensor for secure and convenient unlocking.
