TECNO has unveiled its latest affordable smartphone offering, the TECNO Spark 9T, a new addition in its Spark 9 series. The device features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a teardrop style notch.
Under the hood, the Spark 9T is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is also a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 10W fast charging.
In terms of imaging, there’s a 13MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera setup with AI lens. As for the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera housed inside the aforementioned teardrop notch.
Other notable specs include Android 12 via HiOS 8.6, USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a choice of 64 or 128GB of storage. Besides that, the Spark 9T comes in either Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple and Cocoa Gold colour options.
The Spark 9T is priced at NGN78,300 or ~RM829 for the 4/64GB variant and NGN88,000 or ~RM931 for the 4/128GB configuration. Currently, this device is only available in Nigeria, though it is expected to be released in other countries in the near future.
