TECNO has unveiled a major upgrade to its AIoT ecosystem at MWC 2026, alongside three new devices: the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 AI tablet, TECNO Watch GT 1S flagship smartwatch, and TECNO FreeHear 2 open-ear audio buds. Without further ado, here's what you need to know about the new products.
The TECNO MEGAPAD 2
Positioned as a mid-range AI tablet running HiOS, the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and TÜV Low Blue Light certification. AI capabilities play a central role in the MEGAPAD 2 experience, such as AI Problem Solving encourages independent learning while supporting parental guidance. AI Translation enables real-time translation in up to 140 languages across images, calls, videos, and meetings. Lastly, productivity is further enhanced with AI-powered document summaries and writing refinement tools, ideal for casual browsing and light academic tasks.
The TECNO Watch GT 1S
As the flagship in the TECNO Watch lineup, the TECNO Watch GT 1S combines advanced fitness tracking with health monitoring features. It is powered by dual-band L1 + L5 high-precision GPS and advanced motion sensors. Comprehensive health monitoring includes heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and sleep tracking, and with up to 15 days of battery life and 5ATM water resistance, the smartwatch is built to support work, workouts, and outdoor activities alike. Users can also generate AI watch faces through image-to-image or text-to-image customization, allowing the watch design to match their personal style.
TECNO FreeHear 2: Lightweight Open-Ear Audio
The TECNO FreeHear 2 adopts an open-ear design that prioritizes comfort while maintaining immersive audio performance. Each earbud weighs just 5.4g and features an ergonomic C-bridge clip design for a secure and natural fit during extended wear.
