When we talk about Malaysia’s biggest telecommunication companies, does TIME come into your mind? If not, the fibre network company is going to make you remember its name by proving their success from sales records. TIME announced its financial report for the first 9 months and as of 30 September 2019, it revelead they have made RM818.5 million of revenue.
The revenue shows an increase of 13.6% over the same period of the preceding year. The amount gained by the company was a result of higher recurring sales from data, data centre and voice businesses. TIME is also thankful for the support of customers who contributed to overall revenue growth, led by wholesale and retail customers.
The consolidated pre-tax profit (pre-MFRS 16) also stood at RM247.7 million, 14.1.% higher than the consolidated RM217.1 million pre-tax profit recorded in the same 9-months-period financial report in 2018. This can be attributed to higher overall revenues and a higher share of profit from investment in associates.
TIME is Malaysia’s only home fibre network that offers the speed of up to 1Gbps, beating the other fibre network providers by being the fastest.
