In case you didn't know, unifi TV users are currently experiencing service disruption across the nation. Telekom Malaysia has just published a statement about the issue and said that the service should be back in working condition later this evening.

The service disruption recently began at approximately 9.50 PM on 3 January 2022 due to the impact to the power system triggered by a fire that affected the “Uninterruptible Power Supply” (UPS) equipment at TM IT Complex in Cyberjaya. TM said that the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia have taken care of the situation and there were no reports of injuries.

Currently, the cause of the fire is unknown and the company will fully cooperate with any investigation as required by authorities. TM noted that this incident has caused unifi TV service interruptions affecting close to 300,000 of our unifi TV viewers. Other TM and unifi services are not affected.

From the incident, TMpoint Cyberjaya will remain closed temporarily due to a low power supply. TM estimated unifi TV to resume its services by 3 PM today and also, the company would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience.
