TM is going to shut down unifi Community effectively on 22 July 2022

Just over the weekend, Telekom Malaysia (TM) just announced that the unifi Community will be decommissioned. In a month's time, the unifi Community portal (community.unifi.com.my) will shut down effectively on 22 July 2022.

So why is TM decommissioning unifi Community? According to the company, they want to have a centralised platform to engage with their customers which is on the unifi Facebook page. No other reason was given but we assume that unifi customers tend to visit the Facebook page more often than the unifi Community. 

For those who don't know, unifi Community is an online community portal that provides discussions among the unifi members on services, tips and tricks, promotions and much other stuff. Online forums are still a thing but with the closing, it seems that forums may be a thing of the past but not on every platform yet. 

After unifi Community closes down, TM also suggested that unifi members can continue to get information from the unifi FAQ page, tips and tricks video guide as well as the aforementioned unifi Facebook page. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
