Today, TNG Digital has partnered with Ant International through its SME platform EPOS to introduce EPOS360 in Malaysia. The new platform brings together AI-powered growth tools and enhanced payment capabilities designed to help Malaysian businesses, especially SMEs, digitalise operations and scale more effectively.
BlueTap Enables Tap to Pay with TNG eWallet
A key highlight of the launch is BlueTap, which for the first time in Malaysia, enables consumers to tap to pay directly using TNG eWallet. The solution also supports DuitNow QR and major eWallets, with card payments planned for a later phase. At the point of sale, merchants receive clear audio confirmation when a payment is successful, reducing missed transactions and manual verification during busy periods.
Integration with the broader TNG eWallet ecosystem provides access to point of sale features and transaction insights, while a single device supports acceptance across banks and major eWallets with room to add more payment types over time.
With EPOS360, SMEs can access digitalisation tools directly within the TNG eWallet interface they already use. By tapping into TNG Digital’s large user base, merchants can engage customers more easily while adopting AI-powered solutions that will be rolled out progressively to support different stages of business growth.
EPOS360 is designed to support SMEs from initial setup through daily operations. An AI Copilot helps merchants create online menus from photos or descriptions, simplifying onboarding and reducing setup time. Businesses can then extend their presence across digital channels, supported by built-in marketing services and deployment to platforms such as in-app listings and Google Maps.
Helping SMEs Reach and Engage More Customers
Customer engagement is a core focus of EPOS360. Merchants can use AI tools to create customised campaigns, vouchers, and marketing materials, then launch them simultaneously across multiple touchpoints. In-app engagement is supported through TNG eWallet marketing features such as Near Me, while digital outreach extends to social media and online storefronts. Offline engagement is also enabled through BlueTap devices, allowing promotions to reach customers directly at the counter.
Beyond marketing and payments, EPOS360 provides access to business insights and customer support tools aimed at helping owners optimise operations and engagement. These features are designed to assist with decision-making, troubleshooting, and long-term growth as SMEs scale their businesses.
Industry First Platform Backed by National Digital Goals
According to EPOS CEO Alan Wang, SMEs face increasing competitive pressure and digitalisation has become essential rather than optional. EPOS360 brings together AI solutions, payments, and financial services into a single platform, lowering the barrier for SMEs to transform and grow. After launching in Malaysia, the platform is also set to roll out in Singapore. The initiative is supported by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation as part of broader efforts to advance Malaysia’s digital economy.
