The Tabung Haji (TH) Board has asked pilgrims not to use artificial intelligence (AI) chat applications such as ChatGPT or Google as a guide for performing hajj and umrah practices. According to the Holy Land Worship Guide (PIHTAS), Salmah Sheikh Hassan, ChatGPT, for example, can raise doubts and the validity of answers, thus damaging the worship being performed. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, pilgrims are advised to use the e-taib feature in the THujjaj application to ask any questions related to Umrah and Hajj, as it has a live chat with experts. The application is capable of responding to any query within a minute. It operates 18 hours a day and is staffed by four staff members and three referral specialists.

Moreover, the operation period will be extended to 24 hours during this Hajj season. For Hajj and Umrah pilgrims who wish to use this application, you can download it on the Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS.
