Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that the tech specs, promo image, and price of the realme Q2 may have been leaked which gives us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially unveiled. With that said, it is unfortunate that we do not have any information in regards to the Malaysia release date, so you might want to stay tuned for that.
In terms of the tech specs, our source mentioned that the aforementioned smartphone comes equipped with a Dimensity 800U chipset, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB ROM up to 120Hz display, as well as a 5000mAh internal battery that supports up to 30W fast charging. Camera-wise, it might have a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has a 16MP front-facing selfie camera.
As for the pricing, it is expected to be priced at around RMB1299 (~RM800), which is not too shabby considering the hardware and performance you’ll be getting. With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that realme has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
