Kaspersky reports phishing Attacks Surge 40% in 2023 

Phishing attacks are on the rise! Kaspersky's security system blocked over 700 million attempts in 2023, a 40% increase from the year before. Scammers are targeting popular apps like messaging services and social media, along with exploiting major events like movie releases.

Additionally, Kaspersky experts have observed a surge in attacks spread via messaging platforms. Kaspersky solutions thwarted 62,127 attempts to redirect via phishing and scam links on Telegram, a notable 22% increase in such threats from the last year.
