It's happening, gamers. Dota Underlords, a spin-off of the massively popular DotA series, is now downloadable and free on Steam (Windows / Mac / Linux), iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store & APK) right now. The game is currently in beta so don't expect a perfect game, as there are bound to be bugs. But anyway, let's see what are the game mechanics!

Looking at its official website, underlords.com, the gameplay mechanics won't be the same as what it is on the PC platform. If you're familiar with it, the map is an Auto Chess game (one of the mods in Dota 2) where you pick different heroes in a chess-like setting. In a way, it's a game that requires a lot of strategies to mix and match heroes for bonus add-ons or get multiple copies of the same hero to level up.

Like most PvP focused games, Underlords has Ranked Matchmaking, Tournaments and Match Replay. Choosing your Underlord, Battlepass and Seasonal Rotation (for certain heroes, items and traits) are in the plans as well, and furthermore, you can even crossplay it between your PC and mobile phone!
