Here's a feature many Sony PS4 Minecraft players have been waiting for: Cross-platform play. With the imminent launch of Minecraft Bedrock for the PS4 on 10th December 2019, you will soon be able to play Minecraft with your other friends who are using an Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or a Windows 10 PC.

The Bedrock edition brings with it some exclusive features, such as in-game access to the Minecraft Marketplace and improved game mechanics. Of particular interest is the Minecraft Marketplace, which will allow PS4 players to buy worlds, skins, mini-games, and more. On the same day as the PS4 Minecraft Bedrock launch, Mojang will also be releasing the next update - version 1.14 "Buzzy Bees".

For users who have already bought Minecraft for their PS4, the new Bedrock version will automatically install. Best of all, you won't need to pay an additional fee for the update. However, you do need to install this Buzzy Bee update if you want the cross-platform play feature to work.

It's always great to see cross-platform play appearing in games but what other games would you love to see get cross-platform play feature? Let us know on our Facebook page. Also, do stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
