TechNave Gaming - Nepal unbans PUBG

It's barely been a month since PUBG was banned in Nepal and now the country has decided to reverse the ban due to concerns over freedom of expression. The judge has mentioned that evidence is needed to prove that the ban was reasonable.

Earlier this month, Nepal had banned the popular battle royale due to fears of youngsters getting addiction to the game and eventually ruining their studies and careers. ISPs, mobile network operators and network service providers were told to block the game.

A petition was filed by advocates who argued that blocking internet based forms of entertainment violates the freedom of expression. In my opinion, so long as the person does not harm others, they can do whatever they want with their lives. Even if Nepal ends up banning PUBG, there are other games that are “addiction” and filled with blood and gory on the market. Would Nepal end up banning those as well?
