So this is some pretty exciting news, should it be true - Nintendo may actually enter the smartphone market and introduce their own new compact gaming device. No name has been given but for now, we will dub this as the Nintendo Phone for now.

Information about it is scarce but according to some electronic component suppliers from Taiwan, they said that Nintendo is actually in the middle of considering whether or not to enter the smartphone market. If they give a green light, the smartphone would likely follow the Nintendo Switch design and it will allow the users to share their data and other information with each other.

It's hard to say what kind of tech specs they will use but looking at Nintendo's games in the Apple and Google Play Store, they aren't using high requirements so maybe using mid-range tier specs are just enough. We would also like to imagine that users will be able to play an actual Pokemon game (not Pokemon Go) with each other on the streets and that'd be super cool.

Gaming smartphones are on the rise steadily and a few smartphone brands are trying to capitalize on it. If Nintendo can differentiate itself from other brands and offer a reasonable price, they would likely capture the attention with its already well-established reputation. BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK?
