As mentioned from our previous post, Pokémon Masters was announced at the Pokémon Press Conference and it's set to be released this year. On top of that, Pokémon Home and Pokémon Sleep are coming on iOS and Android devices in early 2020. But just so you know, these aren't games but as services.

Let's start with Pokémon Home, it's said to be a new cloud service app for players to continue their Pokémon adventures from any platform! Meaning that players that play(ed) the game series on Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, mobile devices (Pokémon GO), as well as Pokémon Bank, will be able to connect, manage, and trade with any player globally online via mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. This will include the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games coming this year.

Pokémon trading has always been one of the core aspects of the franchise, so this is kinda cool for Pokémon fans around the world to trade on one single platform. There was also a discussion on a potential add-on to allow multiple players to trade all at one go.

As for Pokémon Sleep, it will serve as a mobile app service for Pokémon GO players. It's only compatible with Pokémon GO Plus devices so that it can track your sleeping time and send information to your smartphone via Bluetooth. In other words, you can play Pokémon GO at night. A great way to hatch em' eggs!

So what do you think of these new services for mobile? It's about time The Pokémon Company steps into the mobile platform. Stay tuned for more mobile gaming news at TechNave.com.
