Hey PUBG fans, if you're waiting for another season of the PUBG MOBILE Malaysia National Championship (PMNC), it's actually returning back for this year with a total prize pool of RM114,000. Organized by Tencent, together with sponsors Vivo Malaysia and Yoodo, the tournament has also increased up to six states now instead of four.
According to the press release, the six state qualifiers featured in PMNC 2019 are Selangor, Sabah, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor and Sarawak. In each state qualifier, only the top two teams will advance to the Grand Finals and on top of that, there will be four incited pro-gaming teams so that's a total of 16 teams altogether sharing the RM114,000 prize pool. Below are each of the state qualifier date and location:
- Selangor Qualifier: 27 April 2019 @ Sunway Lagoon, Selangor
- Sabah Qualifier: 25 May 2019 @ Suria Sabah, Sabah
- Kuala Lumpur Qualifier: 01 June 2019 @ Sunway Velocity Mall, Kuala Lumpur
- Penang Qualifier: 15 June 2019 @ Hin Bus Depot, Penang
- Johor Qualifier: 22 June 2019 @ Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru
- Sarawak Qualifier: 29 June 2019 @ Emart Batu Kawa, Sarawak
- Grand Finals: TBA
