Futuremark will stop supporting Windows Vista but now supports Vulkan

Futuremark recently announced that their 3DMark Vantage and PCMark Vantage benchmarking programs will stop supporting Windows Vista on 11 April 2017. After that date both "Vantage" programs will no longer be available at all but users may still use current 3DMark and PCMark benchmarks instead. In related news, their 3DMark API Overhead test now supports Vulkan, DirectX12 and DirectX 11 benchmarking. You can find out more at www.futuremark.com.

Spotify Asia recently revelead the following statistics about Malaysian music streamers which include:

  • 1 in 4 people with internet access are streaming on Spotify
  • Over the past 12 months, Malaysians have streamed at least 7.5 billion minutes worth of music
  • Malaysians spend on average 148 minutes per day streaming on Spotify
  • Most streamed artists: The Chainsmokers, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd

The recently announced Digital Free Trade Zone or DFTZ was launched to help grow ecommerece such as 11street here in Malaysia along with educating and equipping local SMEs with ecommerce skills.
