The Vivo X21 incorporates several cutting edge technologies such as In-Display Fingerprint Scanner technology as well as the Dual Pixel Sensor which sets a new benchmark in mobile features. Starting off with the In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, Vivo is the first smartphone manufacturer to integrate and mass produce mobile phone displays that are capable of functioning as a fingerprint scanner. This alleviates the need to have a dedicated spot on the device to house the sensor such as on the chin or behind it. This allows Vivo to have larger screens on their devices and also have a much cleaner appearance towards the user.

Not only that, the device also has Dual Pixel Sensor Technology which, through it’s 12MP + 5MP sensor in the rear, allows it to quickly focus and capture depth of field data with every pixel. The autofocus on the device is comparable to that of a DSLR in terms of speed and accuracy, making it extremely easy for the user to capture great photos all the time.
