Two years ago, Twitter introduced Verified Organizations, now known as X Verified Organizations. It is an additional subscription plan for accounts owned by companies or brands to gain additional X-marks on their respective profiles. So, what should you know about it?

In addition to the official X mark, each account under the same company can also get a special mark. Recently, Telegram has also added a similar feature for their account owners. According to Telegram, it is to combat fraudulent accounts and stop crime.

Moreover, eligible accounts are those with Bot services recognised by Telegram, and these accounts will use a unique icon badge. Each icon when clicked will have an explanation of why it is recognised and what it is for. Interestingly, Telegram does not ask for any payment other than simply applying to get this special badge.

Not only that, Telegram also continues to focus on their web3 support by improving the features of getting NFTs, giving NFTs as gifts, reacting to service messages (call invitations, gift acceptance, etc.) and filtering messages by personal messages, channels or groups. At the same time, support for using emojis as folder names and the Telegram camera application that can directly scan QR codes were also introduced.
