Malaysia has gone up to 129 confirmed Covid-19 cases since yesterday. As of now, proactive measures are taken seriously within the corporate buildings and shopping malls. Tenaga Nasional Berhad(TNB) has rolled out proactive measures at their Headquarters in Jalan Bangsar, Wisma TNB Jalan Timur, Petaling Jaya, and all branches nationwide.
Chief Officer Datuk Wira Roslan Ab Rahman mentioned in the statement that the disinfection process and cleaning of the office environment took place on March 7 and 8 as the company aims to ensure all employees and visitors feel confident about the safety and cleanliness of TNB offices. Besides, health screening and body temperature monitoring for employees and visitors at all TNB offices are conducted to prevent the spread of Covid-19 since last week.
He also said that officials of Kedai Tenaga that deal with customers are provided with face masks, liquid disinfectants on the premises for the employees and customers as well as cleaning of door handles, counters and payment kiosks three times a day using liquid disinfectants at Kedai Tenaga.
