Earlier today, Tesco has recently announced that they have introduced the Order & Collect service where you can place orders for essential items via WhatsApp and Tesco will have it ready for you to collect on the same day. However, it is best to note that the Tesco will only take the first 100 orders a day and you can only order up to 25 items at one go.
Furthermore, once the order has been made between 8AM to 4PM, a Tesco Personal Shopper will generate a personalized barcode for the customer to use at the checkout counter. Do note that the Order & Collect service will not be available in locations such as Tesco Extra Puchong, Tesco Extra Chera, Tesco Extra Selayang, Tesco Desa Tebrau, Tesco Mutiara Damansara, and Tesco KSL.
