Today, Elon Musk said that starting February 14, FSD will no longer be sold directly to customers. Instead, it will be offered as a subscription package for just USD99 (~RM400) per month after that date. So, what should you know about it?
Trouble in Paradise for Elon?
At the time of writing, the FSD subscription price in Malaysia has not yet been displayed on Tesla's official website. Musk did not say why the FSD package would no longer be sold directly to customers. But in the EU, some customers are preparing to file a class-action lawsuit against Tesla because FSD does not work as promised.

Additionally, authorities in France have ordered Tesla to stop advertising for FSD, which they found to be opaque because it does not work as promised. Since 2016, Musk has said that Level 5 self-driving systems will be available within three years.
So far, all of his predictions have failed to come true for various reasons. So far, only Mercedes-Benz cars have received approval for Level 3 self-driving systems.
