Samsung is expected to launch a beta version of Android 15 (One UI 7.0) between the end of July and early August. If all goes well, the Galaxy S24 series will be the first to experience this new operating system update. So, what should you know about it?

According to reports, the update will bring smoother animations and include other software improvements. Once officially released, other Galaxy devices will also receive this update. Compared with last year, this year's update time is significantly earlier. Last year, the beta version of Android 14 (One UI 6) was not launched on Galaxy S23 devices until October 30, 2023.

If the news is true, Samsung will release the update by the end of July, which will be about two weeks earlier than expected. As for the official release of Android 15, this coincides closely with Google's expected launch of new Pixel devices in mid-August, suggesting that the overall Android 15 update may be available to the public earlier.

It was worth noting that One UI 7 wasn’t going to arrive very early this year as Samsung was focused on the launch of One UI 6.1.1 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but now it looks like plans have changed.
