The Apple Watch Series 10 could feature a 2-inch screen and a slimmer build

Apple will introduce major changes to the Apple Watch Series 10 lineup this year. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, these new models codenamed N217 and N218 will feature larger screens where the larger version has a 2-inch display, slightly larger than the Apple Watch Ultra's 1.93-inch display. So, what should you know about it?

In addition, the Apple Watch Series 10 will have a thinner design, although the overall look will remain almost the same. Both the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will receive more powerful processors, potentially paving the way for future AI improvements. However, Gurman noted that Apple currently has no plans to introduce the full range of Apple Intelligence features into the Apple Watch.

Despite these improvements, Apple has had difficulty implementing new health features, particularly blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection. Apple made progress on this health feature last year, but has since faced significant challenges. Blood pressure monitoring technology proved to not achieve expected results during testing, possibly delaying its release.

When it is available, this feature will not show accurate systolic and diastolic readings, but will show blood pressure trends over time. Additionally, the sleep apnea detection feature that relies on blood oxygen saturation data, is hindered by the ITC import ban that prevents the sale of the Apple Watch with blood oxygen monitoring in the United States.
