If you are an Apple iPhone enthusiast, this rumour might please you. According to 9to5Mac, this analyst reveals the tech specs and features you can expect out of Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. That said, what should you know about it?

According to Jeff Pu, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus might run the A18 SoC. If this is true, these devices could feature a chipset built on the more powerful and more efficient 3-nanometer fabrication. Plus, the phone might run 8GB RAM. This is a significant upgrade compared to the 6GB RAM in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

In addition, the 16 Pro variants might sport the new A18 Pro chip. Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max could run the Qualcomm X75 modem. On the other hand, the standard and Plus model use the Qualcomm X70 modem. Interestingly, the entire iPhone 15 lineup uses the Qualcomm X70 modem inside. If the rumours are true, the new iPhone could offer a significant boost for 5G performance.

It looks like Apple is going to differentiate these models by its modem and 5G speeds. Pu also says the 16 Pro variants could get an upgraded Ultra-Wide camera this year. Reportedly, we could see an increase from 12MP to 48MP.

But that is not the end of it, the standard and Plus unit might support WiFi 6E. There are also rumours about the Pro variants running Wi-Fi 7. In case you didn’t know, Wi-Fi7 recently launched last week with several significant upgrades.
