With more smartphones using Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 on the way, Black Shark could be announcing the latest Black Shark 4 pretty soon. According to the latest post on Weibo, the upcoming gaming-centric phone will have some quite impressive features.
According to the teaser image, the Black Shark 4 will feature a 4500mAh battery pack. While that seems like "normal" for most Android phones nowadays, the kicker is the 120W fast charging technology here and it's said to finish charging fully in just 15 minutes. With that, we will have to assume that the charging brick is specialized for the gaming phone, so don't just simply use it for other devices that can't support it.
On top of that, other tech specs include a display supporting 144Hz refresh rates using 1080p resolution. 2K resolution was skipped for unknown reasons but in the short term and of course, the Black Shark 4 should be equipping a Snapdragon 888 chipset. We should get more information soon this week as Black Shark prepares to launch it soon.
The Black Shark series in Malaysia is quite an affordable gaming phone but always seem to be in the shadow of the ASUS ROG Phone series.
