Yesterday, Malaysia has already begun taking the first wave of vaccination and it will be rolled out to the second and third wave in the following months. On top of that, it seems that we will have to use a new Digital Travel Health Pass in the future after the pandemic.

The statement came from Malaysia Airlines and the reason for this is for a safer air trip for everyone. The company plans to integrate an International Air Transport Association (IATA) Travel Pass, which will allow future flight passengers to create a digital passport on the Malaysia Airline app. Plus, they can make appointments with the medical staff to go through a Covid-19 RT-PCR test or show their Covid-19 vaccination certificate on their phones.

We have no idea when the health pass will be released, but Malaysia Airlines is currently working closely with the authorities on rolling out the app. We expect more details to be announced soon in the future and we think AirAsia and Malindo Air would do the same as well.

But what do you folks think? Do we really need a Digital Travel Health Pass? Personally, having it will benefit the community and we won't want to go through another pandemic lockdown again. Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
