Looks like Samsung fans are in for a treat. A recent GeekBench data shows the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series could launch with an overclocked CPU core. That said, what should you know about it?

According to GeekBench, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset has its prime CPU-core and GPU-core clocked at a higher speed. Interestingly, this SoC made its way into the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Notably, the Ultra variant for the S24 series clocked a peak speed of 2.40GHz.

In addition, these devices feature seven other cores with the same operating speed as the standard version. Hence, this makes the rumours of the Galaxy S24 series running an overclocked processor more believable. Qualcomm has yet to confirm other details on the subject. However, the Galaxy version is reportedly clocked at 1,000MHz or 1GHz.

We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for these devices. After all, these phones could still launch with the Exynos 2400 SoC. At this point, we can only wait.
