The HONOR 30 flagship series HONOR 30 and HONOR 30 Pro are going to launch on 15 April 2020. This was revealed by the popular Chinese actor Li Xian on his Weibo account showing the promo poster showcasing the silver-purple-ish colour smartphone in his hands.

According to the source, the HONOR 30 and 30 Pro may come with the Kirin 990 5G SoC chipset that supports 5G networks while its lower range series the HONOR 30S was introduced with the Kirin 820 5G chipset 2 days ago. The HONOR 30 and 30 Pro may also have the same 40W fast charging as the HONOR 30S.

In terms of cameras, both flagship devices are expected to be equipped with compelling camera setups similar to the Huawei P40 flagships. This means that they could have a 50MP Sony IMX700 sensor main camera that supports up to 4-in-1 pixel binning resulting in 2.24um pixel size, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens that offers up to 3x optical zoom.

Either way, there is still no official confirmation on the tech specs and Malaysia release dates. So do take this with a pinch of salt.
