From today's news, we learn that Android 9 is pre-installed on the HONOR 9X with complete Google apps in Europe! That caught everyone off guard! Since the Google services issues started with Huawei, the company’s latest devices will no longer come with the Google services that includes the sub-company brand HONOR. So how did the HONOR 9X got away with it?
HONOR did not found any loophole yet, as the HONOR 9X was developed before the ban was implemented. Aside from its operating system, we also got some info of the tech specs. It is equipped with the Kirin 810 chipset that comes with 128GB of storage capacity and 6GB RAM, a large 4,000 mAh battery capacity that supports by a USB-C charging port. In terms of camera, it is sporting a 48MP dual rear camera setup - 48MP main camera with a depth sensor for portrait mode and an 8MP ultra-wide lens whereas on the front will be a 16MP pop-up selfie camera.
Either way, there’s no official confirmation on the Malaysia releasing dates and local pricing for the phone, but we may expect the smartphone to come with the complete google apps when it arrives. So stay tuned for more updates for the HONOR 9X on TechNave.com!
