Recently, HONOR Malaysia teased that a new phone is coming. It was vague at first but turns out that the phone was none other than the HONOR X8 5G. The company also confirmed that the phone will be on sale from 5 August 2022 soon.
Previously, there was an HONOR X8 model in Malaysia but that was the 4G unit. For the X8 5G, it was released in China earlier this week so here's a breakdown. The phone features a Snapdragon 480+ chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an option for you to use the 2GB extended HONOR RAM Turbo too.
Besides that, the X8 5G comes in a 6.5-inch FHD+ 60Hz display, and a 5000mAh battery with a 22.5w fast charging technology. Moreover, you can find a simple 8MP front camera, as well as a 48MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera. With these specs, it looks to be an entry-level device for the masses.
