Just a few hours ago, Huawei Consumer Business President Yu Chengdong just posted an official launch date for the Huawei Mate X2. The upcoming second-gen foldable phone is scheduled to launch in China on 22 February 2021, which could also mean that the Huawei P50 series may make its potential debut but that's just us speculating.
On his Weibo post, it translated to him proclaiming the Mate Xs as still the best folding screen on the market today (lol, right). Moreover, he went on to say the company will focus on more breakthroughs and continuously optimize the core experience of their products. It also seems that President Yu is excited to showcase the Mate X2 since he has been using it for a while.

According to rumours, the Mate X2 is said to be different in terms of design but with an internal folding double screen look. The poster doesn't seem to give that much idea how of it would look like and may not be the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. In terms of tech specs, the Kirin 9000 chipset should be on board.
22 February will be here soon so until then, let's just wait and see. The Huawei Mate Xs may not also make its way to the Malaysian market seeing how the ban is still not lifted yet by the US government. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
