The Huawei Y9a is now official with a 16MP pop-up selfie sensor and more

Last month, there were some leaked tech specs about the Y9a and the media were expecting the phone to launch at the IFA Berlin 2020. But it seems that Huawei have already released the phone quietly, here’s the announcement about the new phone.

According to the company, the Y9a comes with 3 colour variants which are Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black. The body measurement of the phone is 163.5 x 76.5 x 8.95mm, weighing 197 grams. As for the display, it features a 6.63-inch FHD+ IPS display with 1080p resolution and no punch-hole or notch on top.

On the other hand, this device sports with a MediaTek G80 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.  As for the camera, it comes with a quad-rear camera setup - 64MP (main camera) + 8MP (ultra-wide lens) + 2MP (depth lens) + 2MP (macro lens). As mentioned, there is no notch or punch-hole on the display thanks to the 16MP pop-up selfie snapper.

Besides that, this device is running on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) based on Android 10 and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
