Today, Huawei Malaysia confirmed that the Huawei nova 12 series will be coming to Malaysia soon. The nova 12 series consists of three phone models - the nova 12s, nova 12 SE and nova 12i. While there are no official price tags and a launching date yet, here are some things you need to know about the phones.
For starters, the nova 12 SE and nova 12i feature a 108MP primary camera, while the nova 12s uses a 60MP front camera (yes, that's not a typo). Unfortunately, there isn't much information since the nova 12 series that was launched in China was a Pro, Ultra and Lite variant. But we think there may be similar tech specs here and there.
That said, Huawei Malaysia did highlight that the nova 12 series also has AI Battery Saving features and it comes with Huawei's EMUI 14 operating system. The nova series is known to be camera-centric for the mid-range tier and the budget is usually affordable for the masses. For context, the predecessors launched last year started from RM1299.
