Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that Huawei could unveil the Huawei nova 8 series in November 2020 in China. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, we do know that the series will most likely be priced from RMB2799 (~RM1734) onwards.
In terms of the tech specs, the nova 8 series comes equipped with up to a Dimensity 820 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB ROM and up to a 90Hz display. Other than what was mentioned, there is no info on the camera and battery spec of the upcoming smartphone for now.
Do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
