The Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G was released at the end of March 2025, but it has been confirmed that it will be coming to Malaysia soon. Infinix Malaysia will launch the phone here on 22 April 2025 and there will probably be a livestream video to watch.
To recap some of the highlights, the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G is Infinix's first AI smartphone, empowered by Infinix AI∞ with a full integration of DeepSeek-R1. The durability is also commendable, as it is protected by an Ultra-Resilient ArmorAlloy Metal Frame and Infinix’s HyperCasting Tech, which uses an integrated metal die-casting process widely used in the automotive industry to reduce 22 components and cut structural weight by 10%.
In terms of Infinix AI∞, the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G introduces the One-Tap Infinix AI∞, which can be activated via a long press of the power button to launch Folax. Folax is an AI companion designed to assist the user in any capacity, such as generating instant summaries of meetings and lectures with the AI Recording Summary to real-time food recognition and translation on the camera.
In addition, the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G also comes with an AI Writing Assistant and even the Bio-Active Halo AI Lighting for advanced health monitoring, which includes real-time heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring through built-in sensors. Last but not least, it is also powered by a 5,200mAh battery pack that supports 100W All-Round FastCharge 3.0 and 50W Wireless MagCharge.
